A legend of a pianist returns home. Famous musician Vladimir Ashkenazy, accompanied by his son Vovka, returns to his familiar and beloved Argolis – back in the 50s Vladimir built the first house at Palea Epidavros – to give a recital of works for two pianos. The concert includes the impressive Symphonic Dances by the Ashkenazy duet’s favorite composer, Sergei Rachmaninoff, as well as two popular multi-national works of the romantic repertory: French composer Maurice Ravel’s Spanish Rhapsody and Austrian Franz Schubert’s Hungarian Divertimento.
