The Music Port welcomes Angelika Dusk who “lands” at the Athens International Airport to uplift the audience with beloved pop melodies and her unique stage performance.
Presenting a selection from popular hits, ballads and of course her own songs from her first album, Angelika Dusk and her band promise a powerful uplifting experience to the passengers and the visitors of the airport.
Angelika Dusk
Angelika Dusk is a composer, songwriter and singer. She studied classical music at Brown University in the States before going on to the London Centre of Contemporary Music in London where she developed her ability to write up-tempo pop songs, soft emotive ballads and darker songs, all of which weave a world of symbolism that reflect her own experiences.
Her first single “Love on your own terms” from the EP “Telling Stories” as well as her hit single “Beautiful Love”, result of her co-operation with the worldwide famous Greek DJ’s Playmen, which she has presented in Madwalk 2015, have both reached high airplay in the Greek radio stations. Angelika Dusk has played at major festivals in Greece and in many live stages: Εm Lefko Festival in June 2014 (opening the lineup for Boy George and Simple Mind), live at the Gardens of Athens Music Hall, opening act for Kovacs in April 2015, live at the Garden of the Numismatic Museum, live at Faust and at Stavros tou Notou Plus and more music stages in Athens. During summer 2015 she will perform live either on her own or as an opening act of Marietta Fafouti in various festivals and stages. Her first album “Marionette”, produced by Red Triangle and Ross Cullum, was released in April 2015.
